4 limited release wines are now available to be ordered, but only til November 30th.  An Australian Mourvedre, Australian Chardonnay/Riesling/Gewurztraminer, Spanish Garnacha, and Oregon Pinot Noir. At November 18th's Wine Tasting, the Spanish Garnacha seemed to be the favourite! Order now and these special grape juice concentrates will arrive for wine making January thru March.

Vineco's KenRidge Wine Kit captures Best of Show! (Product available at Richmond Winery)

NEWS FLASH - St. Catharines, ON – May 21, 2008 – Vineco International Products, a subsidiary of Andrew Peller Ltd. (TSX: ADW.A, ADW.B), can once again officially lay claim to creating the best wine made from a wine kit in all of North America.
Long recognized for producing outstanding quality products for the consumer-made wine market, Vineco recently had its KenRidge Classic Viognier wine judged as the top wine produced from a kit out of 4,321 entries at the largest amateur wine competition in the world. This marks the second time in the last 3 years of the competition that a Vineco wine has captured a Best-of-Show award. The wine was made by Kurtis Roy of Strathmore, Alberta, who also was awarded Winemaker of the Year at the competition’s awards gala in Sonoma, California. The competition was hosted by WineMaker Magazine, North America's largest consumer publication dedicated to amateur winemakers. Wine entries were judged by a panel of professional wine judges in a blind tasting using the well-recognized U-C Davis 20 point wine scoring system.
Not only did the judges present Vineco with the competition’s highest award for its KenRidge Classic Viognier wine, Vineco’s wine kits also were awarded an additional 53 medals in various categories.
“Receiving the Best-of-Show award for our KenRidge Classic Viognier is a tremendous honour in light of the number of quality wine kits in the competition. In addition, our newest wine kit brand, Cheeky Monkey took home a Gold Medal for Australian Shiraz which is outstanding considering the brand is less than a year old. This success reinforces the fact that Vineco has truly set the benchmark of quality for anyone who chooses to make award winning wines of their own.” said Marianna Rubino, Marketing Manager of Vineco.
